Glastonbury goers celebrate another sustainable weekend by leaving a shit load of tents in a field
1 year ago
Attendees of this year’s Glastonbury Festival have hailed another successful festival for it’s sustainability and environmentally conscious ethos by leaving a shit load of tents in the fields of Worthy Farm.
A spokesperson for the festival has said “We can confirm that after another festival in the glorious sunshine, our punters have finished spending their one weekend of the year spouting nonsense about recycling and lentils, whilst getting belligerently wasted and dancing to Pulp, and returned home, not before stopping at maccies for their morning hash browns of course!
“As per every year, when they all start to bugger off and leave their tents, we know that they’ve finished being ‘environmental’ and they march off in their thousands.
“It’s such a beautiful thing, that Morgan Freeman should narrate a documentary about it all.
“And best of all, we then make a shit load selling their old tents to landfill companies! So it’s win win – they cosplay being Greta Thunburg for a weekend and we make a shit load of cash!”
