Climate Activist Greta Thunberg yesterday met up with Education Activist Malala Yousafzai.
Originally the meeting was planned to discuss science, voting, the limits of protest, divestment, real zero vs net zero, and much more.
However, within minutes of greeting each other, the two disappeared to Malala’s room and shortly afterwards, Justin Bieber songs could be heard punctuated by high-pitched giggles.
It has since emerged that the girls spent several hours discussing boys, ponies and make-up.
“We have agreed that ponies are brilliant,” said Ms Thunberg, shortly after the meeting concluded.
“And it would be brilliant if we could both have a pony for our birthdays.
“Perhaps I could have a pony if I get the world to agree to introduce stricter climate methods, and Mal could get one if she promises to make a significant economic discovery?”
The influential pair then went on to swap make-up tips, with Ms Thunberg introducing Ms Yousafzai to YouTuber Nikkie de Jager and Ms Thunberg trying some Le Marc Lip Creme, which she later declared to be ‘well wicked’.
In fact, it seems the pair got on famously, except in a brief disagreement over what boy is the hottest with Ms Yousafzai claiming it was Timothee Chalamet and Ms Thunberg going for Demi off of Love Island.
The meeting lasted several hours and both girls denied knowing anything about three empty cider cans later found in Ms Yousafzai’s room, claiming that ‘someone else must have left them there’.
