Brexit bus message updated to ‘We send the EU £350 million a week. Let’s fund a privatised American healthcare provider instead’

The infamous Brexit bus has had its message changed from ‘We send the EU £350 million a week. Let’s fund the NHS instead’ to ‘Let’s fund a privatised American healthcare insurance provider instead’.
NHS campaigner, Simon Williams, said “Trump ally, US ambassador to the UK and man who has not one, but TWO, slang names for a penis, Woody Johnson, confirmed to Andrew Marr that the NHS would be up for negotiations in a trade deal with the US.
“It thus seems entirely likely that the apocryphal £350m we ‘send’ to the EU will inevitably go directly into the pockets of rich American businessmen, who then proceed to avoid tax on it.
“I mean, this is exactly what we were promised, is it not, by those in the Vote Leave campaign?
“At the end of the day, I don’t suppose it matters, as long as we are out of the EU, yes? Because that’s the important thing here. I’m sure the Brexit-voting public would much rather see their hard-earned tax dollars literally converted to dollars and sent to people who will then charge you a large premium just so you can see a doctor when you need to.
“So, as promised, we’ll all be better off financially out of the EU then.
“If by ‘better off’ you mean ‘paying the same amount in tax and then paying for health insurance on top of that because the tax no longer goes to the NHS, because it doesn’t exist’ – and if by ‘we all’ we mean ‘a very few really rich people who work in the insurance business like Arron Banks’.
“Anyway, the bus is hidden in a garage, so you can’t see the new message on it.
“Seems strange they’re not shouting this from the rooftops, doesn’t it?”
