Birmingham residents celebrate their council tax increase by climbing on rubbish piles and high-fiving rats

It is revealed today that residents of Birmingham have been celebrating their council tax rises by climbing on massive piles of rubbish, jumping up and down, and high-fiving rats.
With a major incident now being declared in Birmingham, due to the ongoing bin strike causing rubbish to be piled high on the streets of the city for weeks, residents have been spotted celebrating council tax rises today by throwing shit in the air and rolling about in used nappies, found all over the pavement.
Resident Simon Williams told us earlier, “It’s a real celebration!
“Not only are all our bills going up and council tax is rising, but we get to celebrate it by rolling around in streets full of shit and catching a load of diseases usually seen in the third world with poor sanitation.
“Obviously it’s a celebration for everyone, that’s why we have got the rats involved too, as they are practically family now, we spend so much time with them.
“I just feel really blessed that we get to pay more money for our services, for the council to let the whole city turn to shit. Literally.
“I just wish we could pay more. And have even more rubbish on the streets!”
Asked when he last actually had his bins emptied we were told “Fuck off!”
