Literally everyone on Facebook has confirmed that the sky is currently a funny colour.
The sky began to turn a yellowy-orange colour at around lunchtime. The first reports of the sky turning a yellowy-orange colour hit Facebook at several seconds after lunchtime.
“I don’t know what I’d do without people posting on Facebook that the sky is a funny colour,” said Facebook fan Simon Williams.
“As someone who is far too busy reading Facebook to actually stand up to go and look out of an actual window, these updates about the peculiar colour of the sky right now are invaluable.”
Mr Williams was particularly grateful for the pictures of the sky that were uploaded to Facebook.
“Yes, Mum took a photo of the sky from out of the lounge window. It’s proved a real boon for me, what with my own window being on the other side of the room.
“With that picture, I can just imagine what it would be like to stand up and walk a few steps to my left to look out of the window.
“She did the first picture in black and white, so I had to shout at her to stop being all arty and to do a proper one, but she’s sorted that out now so I can really get a feel for the funny colour that the sky has gone.
Mr Williams will stay glued to Facebook for any reports of the sky colour changing back to normal.
“It’s literally the only way to know what’s going on.”
