Josef Goebbels’ former secretary, Brunhilde Pomsel, revealed she turned down a lucrative job offer from Donald Trump.
Prior to her death, President Trump had been trying to recruit a mature shorthand typist with right-of-centre political views.
Pomsel was believed to be the ideal candidate having spent more than six years working for a respected pioneer of “alternative facts”.
Meanwhile, the 106-year-old admitted she had serious reservations about working for one of the worst psychopaths in human history and Josef Goebbels.
Munich-born Pomsel said she was worried how a four-year stint under Trump would look on her CV, which already had a massive gap between 1939 and 1945.
She described Goebbels as “a good looking man who was always well-groomed and had normal-sized hands.”
Pomsel said, “Goebbels could be a right bastard, especially if I was late, but he never had a bad word to say about Muslim refugees.”
Shortly before her death said she felt no remorse about returning Trump’s invitation letter unopened, adding, “I may have inadvertently worked for a brutal mass murderer, but even I’ve got standards. “
