Keir Starmer starts packing

Sir Keir Starmer has started packing his bags, according to a Downing Street source today.

With news emerging overnight that Andy Burnham has won the Ashton and Makerfield by election,  further news has now emerged that Prime Minister Sir Kier Starmer has immediately started packing all his things up, as he will probably be moving house again soon. 

A spokesperson for the Prime Minister confirmed, “He’d actually started last week. 

“He was just putting a few things in boxes to make a start on it just in case. But now he knows the result, he’s basically packing up the lot.

“He’s even started taking down the light fittings and removing all of his pictures. 

“We thought he might leave everything how it is for a while, just in case he wins the inevitable leadership contest, but he’s already cancelled his SKY package.” 

Asked if they think he WILL win the leadership contest we were told, “No. He won’t.”
