Donald Trump confirms Iran peace deal moves World Cup final to Tehran

Donald Trump has confirmed the 2026 World Cup final will be relocated to Tehran as part of the United States’ deal with Iran.
Having already agreed to end economic sanctions against Iran, as well as giving them access to a $300bn reconstruction fund, Donald Trump has also announced that the World Cup final would now take place in Tehran, instead of New Jersey.
“It’s a great city, possibly the best,” said Trump, marvelling at yet another concession of his Iran deal.
“Tehran is going to put on one hell of a final, everybody’s saying it. People ask me, ‘Donald, shouldn’t the World Cup final be in the United States?’ I said to them Tehran is the hottest city in the world right now. It really is, folks. So hot.
“The lamestream media will probably call this a loss for Trump. It’s fake news. The plan was always to have the World Cup final taking place in Iran. Ever since we were announced as the hosts, I said Tehran would make a great venue. I’ve said it from the start. They have the best soccer stadium. So big, probably the biggest the world has seen.
“They’ll be no refunds, folks. I always said the final would be moved from the MetLife Stadium to the Azadi Stadium. It’s the fans’ fault for not predicting I’d go to war with Iran. The soccer fans treat me like a dog. They’re nasty people, so nasty.
“Probably the nastiest.”
