Donald Trump hired by The Simpsons after claiming to predict 9/11

Known for their knack of predicting historical events, The Simpsons have hired Donald Trump as a writer after claiming to have predicted the 9/11 attacks.
During a news conference on the Iran war, President Trump once again repeated claims he predicted “Osama bin Laden would knock out the World Trade Center”, leading to a job offer from The Simpsons writing team.
“We’re usually the one’s predicting things,” said The Simpsons’ creator Matt Groening.
“We’ve predicted Super Bowl winners, the Fox/Disney merger, the OceanGate tragedy and even Trump himself running for president. But never have we made such a big prediction as the 9/11 attacks. This guy must be some kind of oracle.
“We’re planning to get him in next week to pitch some storylines to us. I’ve got to say, we’re actually quite optimistic about what Donald could bring to The Simpsons. The show is about a fat, dumb American bloke and his family, so he should be able to play off his own personal experience.
“He’s been telling everyone he predicted the 9/11 attacks since his 2016 campaign, so there must be some truth to it. Apparently he made his prediction bin Laden would attack the World Trade Center in his 2000 book. Let’s just take a quick look…
“Oh, never mind. He was lying again. As you were.”
