‘£1.4 million property purely for security reasons’ insists Nigel Farage

Nigel Farage has insisted the £1.4 million property he paid for in cash shortly after receiving £5 million from Christopher Harborne is purely for security purposes. 

The £5 million personal gift/unconditional gift/Brexit reward Farage received has been under intense scrutiny in recent days, though the Reform leader maintains the property was purchased entirely to protect himself. 

“It’s more of a fort if anything,” said Farage, playing pool in his games room.

“The property comes with loads of protective measures. The wine cellar protects me from thirst, the private cinema protects me from boredom and the swimming pool protects me from feeling like I’m poor. Like I said, the entire property is for protection and nothing else. 

“I knew people would find a way to spin this negatively. A man can’t buy a £1.4 million property a few weeks after getting £5 million from a crypto billionaire anymore without everyone thinking something dodgy is going on. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Next you’ll be scrutinising the Ferrari. A security Ferrari, may I add. It’s to outrun the milkshakes. 

“Don’t forget when Keir Starmer got that free pair of glasses. That’s what you should be really looking into. They were designer ones and everything. Not like my safety Rolex. It’s exactly the same as a regular Rolex, but I used the change to buy some nunchuks.
