NATO really wishing it hadn’t wasted money renewing its website domain
9 months ago
NATO is furious today after realising they’d just renewed their website domain for another year, despite the security alliance at risk of collapsing altogether.
With rumours that Greenland could soon be occupied by the United States, many believe it could be the end of the longstanding security alliance, making the need for a website domain completely obsolete.
“There’s €9.99 down the drain,” said NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
“I wouldn’t wasted all that time sucking up to Donald Trump if I’d known he was going to try and invade Greenland and ruin a 76-year-old security alliance.
“I know I probably should’ve been a bit tougher with him, but I genuinely believed kissing his ass was the best strategy at the time.
“Do I regret referring to him as ‘Daddy’ at the last NATO summit? Yeah, kind of. But come on, who would’ve thought this guy would turn out to be completely unhinged? Oh… everyone? Really? Well I wish someone would’ve told me.
“Oh balls. I’ve just realised we’ve ordered loads of new tiny flags as well. Great, now I’m going to have to try and remember the NATO Amazon password. I’m pretty sure I’ve got 30 days to return them.
“Let’s hope the world doesn’t end before then, eh?”
