A man who furiously called for rapper Bob Vylan to be banned from ever performing due to his incitement of violence at Glastonbury is now furious at the banning of football fans with a history of violence and chants about dead children.
Derek Williams from Runcorn, was interviewed by reporters about the decision to ban supporters of Maccabi Tel Aviv from attending Villa Park due to safety concerns around their violent behaviour.
He told reporters, “It’s just ridiculous isn’t it! Bloody political correctness gone mad. So people can’t go to a football match now? What’s the bloody point? You can’t say or do anything these days – even the upside-down flag I hung from a lamppost fell onto a passing car. Bloody ridiculous!”
When asked about his previous complaints about Bob Vylan’s Glastonbury performance, which featured him chanting “Death to the IDF”, Mr Williams explained, “Oh here we go! It’s perfectly bloody simple!
“I hate violence in all forms, apart from when it’s targeted at the starving children of Gaza. That’s fine. Banning the lads who like to sing about it and torch stadiums is a TRAVESTY! Think about the hotels they could burn down while they’re here. MAKES MY BLOOD BOIL!”
“And as for that Bob Dylan, Paul Simon or whatever his name is, well… He was inviting violence towards the people who are committing violence to vulnerable people, starving an entire population and bombing hospitals with children inside.
“If he has way, all that would stop. WHAT BLOODY PLANET IS HE ON??”
