Louvre closes again after daylight robbery reported at gift shop

The Louvre has re-opened and then re-closed again today after police were called to a number of reports of ‘daylight robbery’ at the gift shop in the museum.
The world famous museum, which had been closed for days following the daylight robbery of jewels from the Gallery of Apollo on Sunday, had to be closed once again today following further daylight robbery of people’s money at the gift shop.
Simon Williams, who was wandering around the gift shop inside museum told us, “It all happened so quickly, it’s pretty scary really.
“I was in the ridiculously long queue to enter the museum to look at that bang average painting of Nora Lisa or whatever she’s called, when I heard people screaming up ahead.
“I then witnessed a few people fainting and others crying hysterically yelling that they were being robbed.
“It turns out this one woman had been charge SEVENTY Euros for a bandana! ONE! And that’s without buying a guidebook, or a fridge magnet or anything else.
“It’s a fucking museum.
“Absolute daylight robbery I can tell you, and thankfully police were very quickly on the scene….. for once. I’m just lucky the queue to see that Lisa bird was so long, or it could have been me that was robbed.”
