Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has legally changed his name to ‘Elon’ after announcing Meta would be ditching fact-checkers and replacing them with community notes similar to X.

Zuckerberg, who also debuted a new short black hairstyle and South African accent, said his name change had nothing to do with trying to copy billionaire rival Elon Musk.

“I’ve always wanted to be called that,” Elon the Second told us. “This isn’t about trying to compete with Musk. I just like the name, okay?

“Look, I’m sure people are gonna make a big deal about my new space exploration company being called ‘SpaceX 2 Fast 2 Furious’, but I can assure you there’s no link. I’m in no way trying to emulate Elon Musk.

“Yes, it’s true that I’m interested in buying Liverpool, but that’s only because I love soccer and that Mo Salah guy.

“David Coote? What a jerk, am I right?”

However, the billionaire (Formerly Known as Mark), didn’t seem to be aware of Elon Musk’s recent comments regarding EDL founder Tommy Robinson.

“Who the hell is Tommy Robinson? Oh, Elon Musk likes him? I definitely like him then. In fact, I’ve always said Tony Robinson is a great dude. I said that like ten years ago. Way before Elon Musk. Check the community notes.”
