Wireless Festival back on as organisers announce surprise set from Heinrich Himmler

Wireless Festival has announced a surprise set from Heinrich Himmler, after it was cancelled because the government blocked Kanye West from entering the UK.
The Wireless Festival faced massive backlash for allowing the controversial rapper to headline their festival, and despite cancelling the event earlier today, have now decided to double-down by adding Himmler to the Saturday night slot.
“We’ve decided to lean fully into the anti-Semitism,” said Wireless Festival boss Melvin Benn.
“We’ve already had loads of backlash about all Kanye’s Nazi stuff. Himmler’s headline set shouldn’t damage our image too much. This is probably the last time we’ll run the festival anyway, so we may as well go out with a bang. We’re even letting him wear his SS uniform. Why not? It’s iconic, after all.
“I’m personally really looking forward to his disco set. He made it very clear that he would be performing disco and only disco.
“It’s a strange choice, but the audience will just have to deal with it. I saw the Glastonbury audience put up with Rod Stewart, so festivalgoers clearly have a high tolerance for pain.
“Hey, maybe we could do our own version of the Pyramid Stage too. I’m sure we could make the tent look like a swastika if we really put our minds to it. Wow, I’m getting really excited now! It’s going to be an incredible weekend of live music.”
