Joseph Goebbels to become pundit on Match of the Day

Match of the Day have announced that Joseph Goebbels will appear as a pundit on Match of the Day this week amid the recent controversy surrounding Gary Lineker.
Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker “apologised unreservedly” yesterday for sharing a social media post about Zionism that included an illustration of a rat, though insists he had no idea who Goebbels was when he asked him to be a pundit on this weekend’s show.
“I’m just here to talk about football,” said Goebbels, clutching his notes on Aston Villa vs Tottenham.
“I promise I won’t talk about all that other stuff. This is a chance to showcase some of my football knowledge and leave the past in the past. I’ve been studying up on xG and everything.
“I really like this Aston Villa squad that Unai Emery has put together. Well, apart from Matty Cash. It’s nothing to do with him representing Poland. I just don’t think he’s a good enough right back, that’s all.
“There’s a lot of hypocrisy nowadays. I personally don’t see the difference between Alan Shearer putting his arm up in the air and me putting my arm up in the air.
“It’s exactly the same. He was just wearing a Newcastle shirt.”
