Leading Democrats continue with plan of giving Donald Trump disapproving stares

Leading Democrats have confirmed that they intend to continue with their plan of giving Donald Trump really disapproving stares whenever they see him.
“What Donald Trump is doing to this country is a disgrace, and, as Democrats, it is our duty to oppose him using the most powerful weapon in our arsenal; a really disapproving stare,” explained Chuck Williams, a New York senator.
Some people have argued that the dismantling of America’s democracy might justify something more significant than a disapproving stare, but Mr Williams disagreed.
“I think you understand the power of a disapproving stare,” he scoffed.
“If I see the President and give him a really good disapproving stare then I would imagine that it’s really going to make him have a good think about what he’s done.”
He dismissed suggestions that they really should be doing more to oppose the collapse of the most powerful country in the world into totalitarianism.
“What, by tutting really loudly when the President threatens to imprison his enemies or annexe another country? That sort of thing? Well, I don’t know, it seems a bit extreme to me.
“I think we should continue with our plan of disapproving stares until the mid-terms, and if the president hasn’t learnt his lesson by then, providing we still have a functioning democracy, we’ll give this plan of tutting really loudly a try.”
