Culture Secretary Nadine Dorries has spoken of her unwavering devotion to prime minister Boris Johnson, insisting she will never ever ever leave him.
“You are my everything, my whole world,” Dorries wrote in a post on social media.
“When I look into your eyes I see the strength and compassion of the only man who can lead this country out of the crisis of our own making.
“My devotion to you knows no bounds and I will always be at your side, when people think of me I want them to think of you, for we are one in the nation’s mind, like Andy Murray and Wembley.
“There is nothing you could ever do that would make me question my loyalty. Nothing. You could ask me to do anything and I would do it. I mean anything Boris.
“I would happily rip out and eat the eyes of any reporter who so much as looks at you funny – and I say that as someone who ate ostrich anus on live television, so I’m not bluffing.
“I ask nothing in return, beyond the knowledge that you will never ask me to leave, and that I am safe in your warm bosom. Protected.
“Let us stand side by side in the face of this criticism, safe in the knowledge that our feelings for each other will protect us, no matter what.
“And if Chancellor becomes available again any time soon, I’d love to have a go.”
