President Trump has finally admitted to the defence of a stupid concept.
The walking Cheeto has described the Saudi Arabian explanation of the death of Washington Post journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, as “the worst cover-up in history” despite the fact he said he believed that same explanation when it was given a couple of days ago.
“Ergo, he’s saying he’s a bit of a gullible twat,” confirmed linguist, Simon Williams.
“We’ve done the maths, it’s pretty simple. Trump said he believed that Khashoggi died in a fist fight, as per the Saudi explanation. Then, days later, he’s described it as ‘the worst cover-up in history’, which is his tacit admission that he had fallen for the worst cover-up in history.
“I’m not sure there is a clearer way to demonstrate that the President of the United States has all the detective skills of a potato.”
A White House spokesperson said, “The President did not believe that Khashoggi died in a fistfight, of course.
“The version of events he believed involved a one-armed man, Harrison Ford and a pharmaceutical company.
“But that’s what you get when you watch The Fugitive while on a Skype call with the Saudi government I guess. Donald gets easily confused.”
