Anger as boys as young as 8 subjected to Labour Social Club

Video footage showing two 8 year-old boys being subjected to a night out at a Labour Social Club has caused widespread anger amid claims that the boys could have been at risk from the opinions of people that attend Labour Social Clubs.

The footage, which showed the boys standing in a ring being subjected to an angry rant about the bourgeoisie using the blood of the workers to oil the wheels of capitalism, has been strongly criticised by the NSPCC.

“I don’t think it is appropriate for children as young as 8 to be subjected to crowds of adults shouting and jeering that the cause of the current economic crisis can be traced backed to the policies of Margaret Thatcher,” said Chris Cloke, head of child protection awareness at the NSPCC.

Club manager Michelle Anderson, 39, said that the boys “loved it” and were not in danger at any point.

“I don’t see what the problem is,” she said. “How can pointing out that the ruling elite are trapping the working classes in a system of wage-slavery be a bad thing?”

Child Abuse

The video, shot at Greenlands Labour Club on 10 September, shows one of the boys crying, but Mrs Anderson denied that this was anything to do with the atmosphere within the club.

“He was crying at the realisation that the government is crippling the nation’s youth by ensuring that a decent education is only accessible to the wealthiest in society.”

“That and he spilt his Fanta all down his trousers.”
