“Important to focus on the victims” says journalist preparing to write 2000 words focused on the men
8 months ago
A journalist writing their 2000-word commentary piece on the men involved in the Epstein scandal has prefaced it with the phrase “it’s important to focus on the victims” in an attempt to make it seem like he believes that it’s important to focus on the victims.
“Obviously, the real meat of this piece is Noam Chomsky having a chat with Steve Bannon and that sort of thing,” said the journalist.
“But I’m going to make sure that, right at the start, I put in that I think it’s important to focus on the victims because people like to think that it’s the victims that are being focused on, don’t they?
“If you put that in then you feel better about writing gossip about all the men and, more importantly, the people reading it feel better about reading reading gossip about all the men.”
Simon Williams, like many, enjoys reading gossipy articles about the men involved with Epstein.
“I do, yes. Very much. I’m really intrigued by all the stuff Trump and Andrew and all that lot did, but, you know, I like to read about all that stuff while being told how it’s important to focus on the victims as well.”
It is currently not possible to ascertain what an article that “focuses on the victims” is actually about, because all current examples of articles that profess to focus on the victims are all about the men.
