The latest instalment of the Indiana Jones franchise will show the eponymous hero and his quest to find an NHS dentist taking on patients in 2022.

Though details of the project are being kept under wraps, Hollywood leaks indicate that ‘Indi’ will be living in the UK and searching for a dentist to treat a potential bicuspid cavity.

As one studio insider told us, “Indiana Jones is synonymous with mythology and the search for mythical items – The Holy Grail, the Ark of the Covenant – and they don’t come much more mythological than an NHS dentist who is currently taking on new patients.

“His search will see him travel the length and breadth of the country, taking in some amazing sights along the way. From a rumour in an ancient Facebook post about a dentist with one space in Basingstoke, to a dash across to Norwich thanks to a wise old sage who informs him a recent emigration might have created a single fleeting opening if he can get the timing ‘just right’.

“I won’t ruin it by telling you whether he is successful or not in his quest, but what I will say is that Harrison Ford has been fitted for prosthetic gums that will feature heavily in the third act.

“Make of that what you will.”
