A man who doesn’t understand fascism is today insisting that stopping people from going to nightclubs is how the Nazi’s started.
Simon Williams, 32, insisted we now live in Nazi Germany, because he won’t be allowed to go on the pull at Ritzy’s from September.
He told us, “Everyone focuses on the concentration camps, but what they don’t realise is that the Nazi’s started not by kicking doors down, but by preventing the unvaccinated going to nightclubs. I know it sounds implausible, but it’s right there in that meme I just shared on Facebook. So it must be true.
“If the alternative is to close nightclubs completely to limit their effectiveness as a transmission vector, as the government has done for most of the last 18 months, then so be it. I’d rather nobody had any fun at all than people were allowed to have fun without me.”
Meanwhile, non-morons have pointed to the seven-fold jump in vaccination rates in France after they announced vaccines would be required for bars and restaurants as the obvious reason why the government has announced these plans.
As one explained, “You can read all sorts of conspiracy nonsense into it if you want, but the simple fact is that the government wants as many people vaccinated as possible, and the incentive of giving extra freedoms to the vaccinated clearly worked in France, and they’re hoping it will work here, too.
“But by all means continue insisting we’re living in Nazi Germany – just do it outside on the street while we’re all having fun in the nightclub VIP area.”
