With the funeral of Prince Philip complete, Princess Diana has breathed a sigh of relief and emerged from hiding.
Diana, who watched her own funeral disguised as a pillar box on the corners of The Strand, said she laughed like a drain watching Philip’s children walking behind his coffin and she hoped they enjoyed it.
“The dangerous old git almost got me that one time so I had to go off-grid for more than twenty years,” she told us.
“Flitting from safe house to safe house, helped by friends, always watching for the telltale white Fiat Uno which said he’d caught up with me again.
“It’s why Harry joined the army, to learn the skills to protect his mum.”
