Twitter apologises for allowing photo to be tweeted that isn’t Bernie and his f**king mittens

Twitter apologises

Twitter has apologised after it allowed a photo to be tweeted that didn’t feature Bernie Saunders and his f**king mittens in some way.

At approximately 9.10 on Sunday morning, Mr Simon Williams of Chelmsford, Essex, tweeted a poorly composed photo of the snow on top of his car. After extensive study, the photo was found to not contain Bernie and his f**king mittens and a complaint was made to Twitter.

“We are very sorry that a picture without Bernie Saunders and his f**king mittens was posted on the site yesterday,” said a Jack Twitter, inventor of Twitter.

“We have an algorithm that checks all pictures posted to Twitter and if they are found not to contain a picture of Bernie and his f**king mittens, they should be automatically rejected.

“I have launched an internal investigation into how this slipped through. I apologise and offer an assurance that, going forward, all photos on Twitter will be of Bernie and his f**king mittens.

Mr Williams offered his own apology for posting a picture of something other than Bernie Saunders and his f**king mittens.

“I don’t know what I was thinking, not posting a picture of Bernie and his f**king mittens,” he explained.

“Even though I’m not really sure who he is or why his f**king mittens are important, I recognise that is no excuse.

“I apologise, and from now on I, like everyone, will make sure that every photo I post will be of Bernie Saunders and his f**king mittens.”

Despite the apology, Mr Williams has been banned from Twitter for a month and police are currently considering whether or not to prosecute.
