A man is using the money he has saved by not going out for 8 months while locked down at home, to have a 12-pack of craft beers delivered to his home.

Simon Williams, who ‘knows a thing or two about good ales’ and also owns a beard, received the delivery this morning after ordering the package online after Facebook told him it was cool.

Speaking earlier today he told us, “It’s a great deal, if you know what you’re talking about, like me who really likes his ales.

“That’s why I’ve gone for the big pack, to keep me going all over Christmas. We are talking 4 completely different beers here, with three 330ml cans of each, all in one package, so I wouldn’t bother speaking to me until January to be honest, as I am going to pretty damn pissed!

“It’s not your common lager shite either, this is stuff you can’t get your hands on anywhere at all, called ‘Brewdogs’ or something with really colourful cans.

“And there’s this pale ale made in Camden that I’ve never even heard of. It’s pretty out there, that’s why it’s a little bit dearer, but you get what you pay for I suppose.

“And to top it all off, they deliver it right to your door, completely free of charge, for your first order over £60.00, with £4.99 admin fee.”

Asked if he’s ever seen craft beers in Tesco we were told, “Yeah right, next to all the Carling I suppose! I doubt that!”
