The Donald came down to Georgia – with apologies to the Charlie Daniels Band

The Donald Went to Georgie - Charlie Daniels Band

The Donald came down to Georgia
He was looking for a vote to steal
He was in a bind because he was running behind
And looking to appeal

He came across a supreme court
And liked the idea of involving it lots
So he jumped up on his Twitter page
And said, “Judges let me tell you what
I guess you didn’t know it but I’m on the fiddle too
And if you’d care to take a dare I’ll send a case to you”
“Now you judge a pretty good fiddle, son, but give the Donald his due
I bet a job for life against your soul if you’ll help me sue”

Judges break your gavel out and read your law books hard
‘Cause hell’s broke loose in Georgia and the Donald wants votes disbarred
And if he wins, he gets his oval office second term
But if he lose, the Donald gets to squirm.

The Donald opened up his case and he said, “I’ll use the court”
And tweets flew from his fingertips as he started a case in tort
He dragged the voters through the courts and he made a case in law
Tens of millions of votes behind and the Donald needed more.
When Donald finished Judges said “Well you’re pretty good, old son
But sit down in that chair right there and we’ll show you how it’s done”

Struck down in Arizona, Wisconsin withdrew
Just to stay in Pennsylvania Avenue
Lost in Michigan, told to go
Crowdfunded legal fees are cheaper tho

The Donald bowed his head ’cause he knew that he’d been beat
And he blamed everyone but himself in one outrageous tweet
Judges said, “Donald, just come on back if you ever want to try again
But given all these warrants it’ll be sooner than you ken
