Star Wars fan Simon Williams has begged friends not to share spoilers after spending the last month spamming everyone with stuff about The Mandalorian, it has emerged.
Williams, whose feed has been full of content about the adorable Baby Yoda and the badass bounty hunter for weeks, thinks it would be ‘deeply unfair’ for anyone to share content from the upcoming Rise of Skywalker in case it spoils the experience for people who haven’t seen it yet.
“It’s not the same,” he said. “The Mandalorian is freely available to anyone with a paid subscription in a limited regional market, so if people haven’t seen it yet it’s their fault.
“But someone might see a midnight showing of the Rise of Skywalker and tell me vital plot points in the few hours gap before I manage to make it into a showing.
“Why can’t people just be thoughtful and considerate for once?!” he added, before posting a short film of Baby Yoda looking adorably sad, just in case you’ve not seen it before.
When told he could easily avoid spoilers for the new film by staying away from the Internet for a few days, Williams described the suggestion as ‘completely unreasonable’.
