Ole Gunnar Solskjær and Steve Bruce are both looking forward to a good old chinwag during their inevitable trip to the jobcentre in the coming months.
The Manchester United alumni of Solskjaer and Bruce are both doing absolutely terrible jobs at managing Manchester United and Newcastle United respectively, but take comfort in the fact they can have a nice chat over a machine coffee while waiting for their jobseeker appointments.
“Yeah it’ll be nice,” said Solksjaer, saving some time by proactively packing his personal effects into a cardboard box.
“I’ve steered Manchester United into tenth position in the league, which is the club’s worst premier league start since 1990. I’d have sacked me by now. I don’t know what they’re waiting for.
“But it will be nice to see Steve. He actually left Man United in 1996, which is the year I started there. I assume it wasn’t personal. LOL!”
“Yeah I say ‘lol’ in verbal conversations sometimes.”
Steve Bruce commented, “Yeah, I’m dead on my arse.
“I take comfort from the fact that Newcastle United were shit when I got here, whereas Ole has taken a relatively successful club and fucked it into a tin hat.
“We can have a nice chinwag and maybe a pint after our jobcentre appointments though. That will probably be the highlight of my season.”
