Boris will never win now, insist people who thought ‘pussy grabbing’ comments would be the end of Donald Trump

Boris Johnson

Some people are still naively optimistic about politicians being held accountable for their actions – believing that Boris being formally accused of misconduct in public office means there’s now no chance he’ll become Prime Minister.

Boris Johnson’s infamous lie that the UK gives the EU £350m a week is apparently coming back to haunt him, by being ordered to appear in court as part of a private prosecution.

“Don’t think for a minute this will stop Boris,” said political analyst Simon Williams.

“He’s one of the favourites to become the next Prime Minister despite the things he’s already done. Let’s consider his life to date.

“As a member of Oxford University’s Bullingdon club he enjoyed smashing up the private property of those not as wealthy and privileged as he is – for a lark.

“As a journalist, he told a friend he’d help obtain the private address of another reporter so they could be beaten up.

“As an MP he lied to the electorate about Brexit and spewed forth awful Islamophobic comments about burkas and letterboxes.

“Those are just a few highlights. We haven’t even touched on his personal life and the fact that he has the moral integrity of a particularly naughty toddler.

“Make no mistake, Johnson is a nasty piece of work – and he STILL stands a good chance of ending up in Number 10.

“Remember what happened when that video emerged of Trump boasting about ‘pussy grabbing?’ People said, ‘oh he’s definitely finished now.’ But voters really did dismiss an admission of sexual assault as ‘locker room talk’ and he’s now the fucking President!

“So don’t write off Boris just yet. He’s like an ingrown toenail – he looks unsightly, causes a lot of pain and just keeps coming back.”
