Brexiters unhappy at football coming ‘home’ to England via Schengen area

Brexiters have queried the ethnicity of football after hearing it would like to come ‘home’ via the open borders inside the Schengen area.

With many commentators explaining how football is coming home, many have queried if it really has a right to come to this country, or whether it is merely looking to exploit slack EU migration rules to abuse the soft-touch UK benefits system.

Brexit supporter Simon Williams told us, “To be honest, I’m not sure football was actually born here and therefore has the right to come back in the first place – I mean, there’s plenty of evidence out there that it was actually born in China.

“And if it really was English, why has it been living abroad for over fifty years? That doesn’t sound very patriotic to me.

“How do we know it’s not really a migrant sport looking to radicalise English sports fans who normally enjoy things like Cricket?

“I’ve seen it on TV being played by those dark-skinned swarthy types, and I wouldn’t trust it as far as I can throw it.

“It claims to be English, but has it been paying into the tax system? Has it heck as like. But I’ll bet it wants free access to the bloody NHS and a pension now it’s so old.”

However, many football fans have insisted that football is an English as tea and crumpets, and attempts to prevent it coming home would be just like the Windrush scandal all over again.

Dave Matthews told us, “Just show them an actual football; it’s mostly white, so I’m sure they’ll be more comfortable when they see the colour of its skin.”
