British Gas is to increase taking the piss out of its customers by 12.5% with other utility companies expected to follow suit.
The company, which is owned by Centrica, said the extra piss-taking would affect 3.1 million households and would come into effect from 15 September
Centrica chief executive Iain Conn insisted that taking the piss out of its customers is not something that has been undertaken lightly.
“Up until now, our piss-taking has remained the same since 2014,” he said.
“I would like to reassure all of our customers that we still expect to announce huge profits next year.”
Consumers have revealed their confusion at the outrageous hike in piss-taking with British Gas customer Simon Williams saying: “I’m sure when they privatised everything they said the free market would control prices
“You mean they were taking the piss?”
