Theresa May has described Donald Trump as a ‘true gentleman’ after all they did on their White House date was hold hands.
Mrs May described in an interview with Vogue how Trump treated her very well during the time they spent together during her visit to the US in January, and went to great lengths to stress that in no way did Trump try any of his classic tricks on her.
She told the magazine, “I know there has been a lot of speculation about Donald Trump’s attitude to women, not least due to that somewhat unfortunate leaked recording of him bragging about sexually assaulting women.
“But I can confirm that he acted appropriately around me, and never once even came close to grabbing me by the pussy. He didn’t even eat any Tic-Tacs, so he must be a reformed character.”
She added, “True, Ivanka was in the room for a lot of the time, and he kept staring at her with a weird glazed look in his eyes, but I’m sure that had nothing to do with it at all.
“Oh, and at one point he asked me if I fancied a golden shower, and I assume he was just talking about using his plush bathroom facilities to have a quick wash, but as I’d showered at the hotel that morning, I politely declined.
“See, a gentleman to the core.”
