President of taxi services company Uber, Jeff Jones, has today been charged £5 after he failed to cancel his contract in time.

Uber are said to be shocked by Mr Jones’ resignation and are desperate to keep him in what has been described as a ‘period of turmoil’ for the company.

A spokesperson confirmed, “We did all we can to keep to Jeff. We said he could play his own music at work and even offered him a job share with some pissed bloke from Clapham.”

Jeff was thought to be furious after receiving notification of the cancellation fee via email and is said to be seeking advice from his legal team.

Negotiations about Mr Jones’ two-minute notice period are still ongoing.
