Donald Trump has fired notorious icon of freedom, the Statue of Liberty, for defying his refugee travel ban.
In a statement, White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer, told reporters, “the Statue of Liberty has betrayed the President by refusing to enforce a legal order designed to pretend to protect the citizens of the United States.”
Donald Trump also explained his decision in a series of Tweets aimed at the popular landmark.
In one he claimed: “Statue of Liberty saying that all welcome in America. FAKE news! So Sad.”
In another, he attacked the monument’s character: “Statue of Liberty has spent years trawling New York Harbor for sailors like the common French whore she is. Embarrassing!”
He finished his rant, adding: “Everyone should watch Statue of Liberty’s sex tape with the Washington Monument. Seriously, Google it.”
