The future of pop group 2 Unlimited is uncertain after authorities recently established some limits.
The duo, who famously sang that there were no limits, have been rocked by the news.
“We are going to have to consider our situation very carefully indeed,” said Jean-Paul deCoster, 2 Unlimited’s chief button presser.
“At the very heart of 2 Unlimited is founding principle that no no no no no no no no no no no no no there’s no limits.
“With the introduction of these new limits, it’s no longer clear whether or not we’ll be able to reach for the sky. Valleys could prove too deep, and mountains, conversely could prove too high.
“We have often sung that ‘I’m on the ass, I know the last,’ I’m no longer sure that’s even possible.”
Fans have found themselves bereft.
“I literally don’t know what to make of it,” said life-long 2 Unlimited fan Simon Williams.
“2 Unlimited’s ‘No Limits’ has been the basis of my moral code and life philosophy for the past twenty-five years.
“To learn that now there actually are some limits? Well, I feel confused, betrayed and terribly sad.”
The Eagles’ ‘Take it to the limit’ is expected to be unaffected by the new limits.
