John Terry today announced he could join any of Europe’s top clubs after purchasing several of their kits from JD Sports.
With his time at Chelsea officially ending this summer, Terry claimed he had received several interesting offers, including 20% off this season’s Real Madrid shirt when you buy the shorts and socks to go with it.
The Chelsea defender told reporters, “I am prepared to join any of the top European teams, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, even Bayern Munich – though to be fair, I could only get the Bayern shirt in a medium so it’s a bit snug.
“But I could join any of them, tomorrow if needed – I just need to cut out the price tags.”
Football analyst Simon Williams explained that Terry’s ultimate destination would depend how those teams fare during the remainder of the season.
He explained, “I think it’s fair to say we could see John Terry turn up at whichever of those clubs wins a major competition.”
“Probably stood somewhere near the back, in his new kit, reaching out to get a hand on the trophy.”
