FHM readers urged to overcome fears and give books a go

FHM readers have been urged to give books a go, with experts reminding them that the lack of pictures won’t bite them.

With FHM and Zoo to cease publication, primitive humans with basic reading comprehension are being encouraged to try other forms of printed words for their entertainment.

“Look, this is going to be scary, a page of text can be daunting, but I promise you won’t regret it,” explained former FHM reader Simon Williams to those mourning the loss of the lads mag.

“It won’t hurt at all, and you will be much better off afterwards, you have my word.”

However most FHM readers have simply slow-blinked to the news that their favourite faux-scut magazine will be no more.

Williams continued, “There are loads of books, the choice is practically unlimited.”

“However, you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, which is quite literally the opposite of how you’ve selected your magazines in the past.”

FHM fan Jake Matthews told us, “I don’t get it, why would you ever read any words at all, other than to help explain why the fit one from Coronation Street is dressed in bikini across the next two pages?”

“I’ll give it a go I guess, but can you tell me which book at least describes the 100 sexiest women in the world?”
