Pope Francis ended his tour of America at a concert hosted by ‘Marky’ Mark Wahlberg, surprising a delighted crowd by busting out an unaccompanied version of controversial NWA song ‘Fuck tha police’.
Pope Francis endured the concert featuring The Fray, Sister Sledge, and man doing opera from an onstage throne borrowed from Kanye West.
As ‘Funky bunch’ star Whalberg was about to bring the evening to a close the Pope stood.
“Yo, yo, yo. Chill homes, I got this,” said the 78 year old pontiff before screaming the legendary opening line –‘Yo, Dre. I got something to say.’
He proceeded to bust out a righteous flow that could be compared to Rakim or early Jay-Z.
The Pope is known for his fondness for NWA (and without), and other pioneering late-eighties, early-nineties gangster rap such as Biggie Smalls, Tupac, and DJ Sven and MC Miker G with fierce rhymes often being heard echoing throughout the Vatican.
It is understood that the Holy Father had wanted to continue with a few cuts from ‘Illmatic’ before ending with Sir Mix-a-lot’s’ ‘I like big butts.’
However, Wahlberg then started to join in and ruined it for everyone.
