After England were drawn in the same World Cup qualification group as Scotland, experts everywhere said that this will definitely end up reflecting brilliantly on all concerned.
Following the draw in St Petersburg for the tournament to be held in Russia in three years time, sports fans in England and Scotland have begun speculating on the wonderful scenes likely to be witnessed at Wembley and Hampden Park.
Football fan Simon Williams told us, “I think if there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that football fans both sides of the border will be happy as long as football is the winner at the end of the day.”
“Whichever team wins, I am sure they will be graciously congratulated by the losing team with a warm handshake, and sincere best wishes for the finals in Russia.”

We spoke to Williams’ Scottish neighbour Duncan Campbell, who was at first reluctant to speculate on the fixtures.
When pressed, he told us, “England can get tae fuck.”
