Respect party leader and former MP George Galloway is taking defeat in the general election with all the grace of a toddler having a tantrum, according to sources this morning.

After announcing legal action to overturn the election result which saw him lose by over eleven thousand votes, screaming children everywhere have accused him of acting like a spoiled child.

As one Bradford resident explained, “I saw George briefly this morning, and there was a lot of foot stomping and sticking out of the bottom lip.”

“No purring or licking of celebrities, because I think he just saves that for national television.”

Toddler James Matthews said, “He’s getting embarrassing now. I already feel a bit stupid throwing a tantrum when I don’t get my way, and I’m only two and a half.”

“It seems he literally has no shame.”

George Galloway to challenge election result

Voters in the region have reacted with surprise at the news of Galloway’s challenge.

Bradford resident and voter Simon Williams told us, “No, I didn’t vote for George Galloway because I think he’s a bit of an arsehole.”

“But I have to say he’s doing a lot to change my mind with the way he’s been digging up documents about the Labour candidate’s forced marriage when she was a 15 or 16-year-old girl.”

“That was a lovely touch on his part.”
