Nigerian terror group Boko Haram have offered to pledge allegiance to Islamic State if they just send over their account and sort code details, we can report.
Islamic State received the offer from a man claiming to be Boko Haram’s leader, Abubakar Shekau.
A copy of the offer seen by this paper read, “Dear Blessed Sir,
“I am ABUBAKAR SHEKAU leader of Boko Haram.”
“I have much allegiance to offer you. Please if you can help by the Grace of God send your bank details by return for our MUTUAL BENEFIT.”
Boko Haram to join ISIS
Islamic State head Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has yet to formally accept the offer, although he is understood to have sent his credit card details to help attractive, young and loyal members of Boko Haram with some travel expenses before the affiliation can be formalised.
A source told us, “They needed a few thousand dollars wired to them to arrange safe passage to join IS, and obviously IS were happy to send this money to their brothers in arms.”
“It turns out they actually need the same amount again, due to unforeseen circumstances, but this is the last time, apparently.”
MI6 and the CIA are reported to be looking into the development, and are hoping to fund agents in the region with a hundred million dollars from an unclaimed bank account they recently learned about from the President Master Minister of the Bank of Abuja.
