Nigel Farage has accused Nigel Farage of a ‘desperate smear campaign’ against Nigel Farage after Nigel Farage failed to declare benefits-in-kind to the Electoral Commission in an obvious attempt to discredit Nigel Farage.
Mr Farage slammed his admittance that he failed to make the declaration as ‘proof that he’s got himself rattled’ and that ‘he’s all the same as himself’.
“The sheer hypocrisy of Nigel Farage doesn’t come as any surprise to me,” said Mr Farage.
“The sooner people wake up to me the better.”
The UKIP leader hit back at his comments by accusing himself of ‘running scared’ and ‘playing into his own hands’.
“I’m sure if I did some digging into my own affairs, I’d probably find things that I’d rather keep secret,” he said.
“This is a deliberate attempt on behalf of myself to discredit myself and is an indication of the lengths I am prepared to go to undermine me.”
UKIP supporters have been quick to defend Nigel Farage against attacks by Nigel Farage and to point out the clear differences between deliberate attempts attempts to fiddle expenses and attempting to fiddle expenses deliberately.
“Nigel Farage’s attempts to portray Nigel Farage as Nigel Farage bears all the hallmarks of a Farage\Farage\Farage troika who are growing increasingly desperate,” claimed 39 year-old UKIP supporter Truthy Truthson-Truth.
“We want a Nigel Farage who is Nigel Farage and not a Nigel Farage.
“And that Nigel Farage is Nigel Farage!”
