It’s that time of year when everyone comes together to enjoy the nation’s favourite equine carnage dash, and we’re giving you the opportunity to join in the needless suffering fun with a handy print off and keep Fatalities Sweepstake Kit.

We’ve got all the info on past fatalities! The most dangerous fences! Plus a handy list of possible injuries that will result in horses being euthanised off camera

If the going for tomorrow’s big race is Good then that’s great news for you if you’ve drawn a high number of fatalities! A whopping 32 of the 69 horses killed have died when the conditions have been described as Good.

The notorious Becher’s Brook has claimed 14 lives, with fence 4 and 20 the next best with 6.

1954’s race saw the most fatalities with 4 horses being destroyed for a mixture of heart attack, cervical fracture, a broken leg and the other being euthanised after being injured in fall. Great news for those punters who had an each way bet!

Cervical fracture, leg breaks and heart attacks are the most common reason for a horse being destroyed, but maybe you fancy an outside punt on a fracture of the thoracolumbar or a railings collision?

Simply cut out the list of injuries. place into a bag and give your work colleagues the opportunity to pull out this year’s number one fatality.

For more chances to win, place some numbers in a separate bag for a chance to pick the number of deaths.

Match the number one fatality with the correct number of deaths and it could be Big Money!!!!
