Trump: “Blame on both sides” of Las Vegas lone gunman shooting

Self-styled ‘President’ Donald Trump has condemned both sides of Sunday’s Las Vegas shooting.

Despite it being a lone gunman with 23 guns shooting from a hotel room on the 32nd floor, Trump blamed concert-goers for ‘going to a concert’ and making themselves targets for the mass murderer.

He said, “Whilst I condemn the lunatic who fired at innocent victims with semi-automatic weapons and machine-guns, it is necessary for me to gather all the facts of the situation before apportioning blame.

“I’m not putting anybody on a moral plane. You had one innocent group on one side and one deranged nutcase with 23 guns, some semi-automatic, some machine guns on the other, and… There is another side, you can call them the ‘not deranged nutcases with 23 guns, some semi-automatic, some machine guns’ that were peacefully not doing anything wrong. And that could be construed as provocation.

“I think the key point here is that, despite the deranged nutcase with 23 guns, some semi-automatic, some machine guns shooting lots of people without guns and the fact that he even shot himself, so his guns weren’t even safe for him… Despite all of that… I’m not going to ban guns. Something about the second amendment; I can’t quite remember the wording. Nobody can. It might not even say anything about guns, to be honest. You just have to say ‘2nd Amendment’ and people shut up. So… 2nd Amendment!”
