Prince William is getting married, what do you think?

The Royal household have announced the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton in the spring or summer of 2011, leading to blanket news coverage across the world.

The couple who have been together eight years are said to be excited, and looking forward to planning the wedding.

We sent our reporters out on to the street to find out what you thought about the future King of England and his bride-to-be.

Woman on the Street “I feel sorry for Kate’s parents.  Her poor mum will have to sit next to Prince Philip at the top table. That’s going to be a long couple of hours.”

Michelle Williams, Wedding Planner

Man on the Street “If I could offer William any advice at all, it would be to treat her like a princess. And I dont mean have her killed and make it look like a car accident.”

Rich Smith, Fixer

Man on the Street “Why keep bringing up Diana? It annoys me when people claim they were more hurt when she died than when they lost a member of their own family.  I was genuinely hurt.  Her car knocked me clean off my motorbike. My camera was ruined.”

Ralph Dobson, Papparazzi

Woman on the Street

“Why is everyone talking about the wedding? Surely the most interesting thing is the stag do that Prince Harry will throw.  I’m pretty sure people will die.”

Deirdre Matthews, Stripper
