Central London barman ignores attractive woman

London barman

A barman working in central London has caused a stir by failing to serve an attractive woman before it was her turn.

The barman, Steve Jones, 24, had only been working behind the bar for two weeks before finding himself right in the middle of an etiquette nightmare.

“Who does he think he is?” said Chantelle Hughes, a 21-year-old amateur glamour model.

“He won’t get anywhere treating beautiful people like this.”

One eye-witness described the scene as a once-in-a-lifetime moment “A bit like one of those nature programmes and that.”

“It was amazing,” they continued, “It was almost like he didn’t even see her blond hair, or heavily tanned cleavage.

“He went straight to guy who wanted three pints of London Pride.”

Mr Jones has strongly denied allegations that he is “gay” and “not into birds” and stated for the record that he just wanted to “serve people in the order they arrived at the bar.”

The bar manager has been quick to attempt to diffuse the row, and stressed that this was a one-off mistake.

“We would like to apologise unreservedly to all the beautiful people.

“I have spoken with Steve, and this will not happen again.

“People like them shouldn’t have to wait for a drink like everyone else, and I assure them that from now on, they won’t have to.”
